Hey There

My name is Angie Morton-Locke and I own Believe In.

I have been teaching yoga for over 10 years.  I obtained my 250 hr Yoga Certification from the Yoga Centre of Burlington during my maternity leave.  Talk about a brand-new start, new baby, new career!

Since obtaining my yoga certification I have taught beginners yoga, restorative yoga, stabilizing chair yoga, therapeutic chair yoga, kids yoga and singer's yoga.  My certification is in the Hatha style of yoga inspired by the Iyengar system.

My love of yoga and wellness is what drives me to teach and bring this knowledge to others.  One of my greatest joys is when I see a student have that “a-ha” moment when they figure something out or suddenly a pose works for them.

The reason my company is called Believe In is because I like to think that with my style of teaching, I offer people an opportunity to believe in themselves and grow.

About Believe In...

Believe In started as a business adventure to build on my own personal passions and as a way to stay home with my daughter back in 2010 when she was just a year old.
Over the years Believe In has ebbed and flowed as my life changed. I have offered yoga, Reiki, clothing, body products, workshops, My Smart Hands baby sign language.
Over the last few years Believe In had been in a holding pattern so to speak as my life had taken a different path. With the COVID-19 Pandemic I took a “new” look at my life and decided there was no time to waste in getting back to the things I love and the things that bring me joy and drive. Starting the business back up I’m sure will be a challenge and there will be good days and bad days but knowing that I get the opportunity to connect with what really drives me and have the possibility of making others lives better is all I need to continue down this path.
I hope you will join me and watch what I have in store for you because it may be just as much a surprise to me as it is to you!
In harmony
Angie
